European Union DST Plans

Staying on Time Across Zones
How DST Works
- →Spring forward: Clocks advance 1 hour, losing an hour of sleep but gaining evening daylight.
- →Fall back: Clocks go back 1 hour, gaining an hour of sleep but losing evening daylight.
- →Changes happen at 2:00 AM local time to minimize disruption.
- →Not all regions within a country observe DST (e.g., Arizona in the US).
